James Forton: teenager who served in the Continental Army.
Molly Pitcher: brought water to thirsty Patriot troops. Her real name was Mary Ludwig Hs. She served in the war by loading cannons after her husband was injured.
Lord Dunmore: issued a proclamation, promised freedom to any slave who fought for the British.
